I'm off!

It's 10.30, Tuesday night. I'm going to have to be up at 4.30 tomorrow morning, to leave the house at 5.30, to be at Heathrow for 6.30, to fly at 9.30! I'm going to be knackered before I've even left the UK!

Just a few hours time though I'll be on a plane on my way to New York to begin the trip. I've been looking forward to it for ages, so I'll be glad to be finally on my way.

I'll do my best to make sure that this blog keeps you up to speed with where I am and what I've been up to...........that said, I should probably have a think about what I'm going to write before I log on here next time. I've not got very much to say right now other than I'm tired and I need to double check my bag before I go to bed.

So, the next post should be coming (fingers crossed) once I'm "Stateside"!........Don't think I'll use that word again, but wanted to drop it in early to see how it felt...........it wasn't great.

Anyway, check back for news from my first port of call - Providence, Rhode Island.

  • Howdy mate! It is a privilage to be your first comment on the page...I'll try to be worthy. By now you'll probably be ridding your damp het jag blues and starting to hit the local "nightspots" so I thought I'd educate you on some americanisms. Ok first things first...red light district isn't a nice place filled with Xmas lights. Secondly, well that was in so be careful out there! Bobby.x(compulsory)
